Story Time...
She sat by the window, staring blankly at the rain. The world outside was moving - cars rushing by, people laughing under umbrellas, children splashing in puddles. But inside her heart, everything felt still… painfully still.
Her name was Ada.
A single mother of two, recently laid off, with bills piling up and a faith wearing thin. She had always believed in God. She went to church, read her Bible, prayed… and yet, nothing seemed to change.
One night, with tears streaming down her face, she whispered, "God, do You even see me?"
There was no thunder. No lightning. No voice from the clouds.
But there was "peace". A strange kind of stillness that wrapped around her like a blanket. She fell asleep with that whisper still on her lips.
The next morning, she woke to a knock on her door.
It was her neighbor - someone she rarely spoke to - holding a bag of groceries and an envelope. “You were on my heart last night. I felt led to help.”
Inside the envelope was just enough to cover her rent.
Ada wept. But this time, not from despair — from the overwhelming assurance that "God was aware".
Dear friend, maybe you’re in a place right now where it feels like your prayers are bouncing off the ceiling. Maybe life is not adding up, and the silence feels loud.
Let this be your reminder:
God is not blind to your tears.
He is not deaf to your prayer.
He is not absent from your story.
He sees the nights you cry yourself to sleep.
He hears the questions you’re too afraid to ask out loud.
He knows the weight you carry and He cares deeply.
"Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered." – Luke 12:6-7
What a breathtaking truth - that the God who created the universe knows your name, your struggle, your need. He is near. He is intentional. He is aware.
So don’t give up.
Don’t think your story has been overlooked.
Sometimes, the silence is not God's absence, but His working behind the scenes.
Just like Ada, one day the knock will come - and you'll realize - He was writing a testimony all along.
🕊️Hold on. God is aware.
