He was until his death an archbishop of the Anglican church, a human right activist and a citizen of South Africa.
He will be remembered for his smiles, truth, love, equality, laughter and above all, his love for humanity which he shared with all and sundry.
He died today being the 26th of December (boxing day) at the age of 90 years and survived by his wife Leah Tutu and 4 children.
May his soul rest in perfect peace. Amen
